Google Loves Content – Not Pretty Looking Websites

Kyle, one of the owners of Wealthy Affiliate, recently put up a blog post on the Wealthy Affiliate blog that I think everyone should read every once in a while.

When most of us create websites, we spend a bulk of the time trying to make it “pretty”. We’ll spend hours trying to find the right colors, the right themes, etc…just to make the website look as great as it possibly can.

But Kyle reminds us that Google doesn’t care about what our websites look like..and that you need good content in order to do well in the rankings.

Of course this makes sense, because the people doing the searches and coming to your website aren’t coming to look at how nice the site is…but are looking for the great content you can provide them.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s spend plenty of time trying to figure out what color to make something on their site, or other cosmetic changes…so it is something we should think about.

While I’m on the subject of Wealthy Affiliate, I just want to share that this is only a tiny bit of the amazing information that Wealthy Affiliate members get to see…and I know, since I’ve been a member for over a year now.

They have a ton of training on all different subjects, a really busy forum you can get personalized help with, and so much more. They have some really cool tools that you can use as well to make your research easier. Don’t know how to put up a website? They make that simple for you as well.

Plus, how often can you find a place where you get one-on-one help when you need it? Kyle and Carson will give you that help whenever you ask…and again, I’m sure because I have asked for their help, and received prompt responses!

I’m really surprised they only charge $39 a month, and it’s something that I happily pay.
